May 18 & 19, 2017
On the 18th and 19th of May, the second meeting of the COFARM project took place in Augsburg, Germany. During two days, the consortium worked on the further steps of the project and presented the national reports of cooperation for each country of the working group. To illustrate the cooperation amongst farming entrepreneurs, a visit was organized to a dairy farm in Ettringen held by Manfred Kögel. This entrepreneur is cooperating on various aspects such as management of his grassland by other entrepreneur, delivery of fodder and association with a cattle breeding society which allow him to 100% focus on his herd of cows and their health and performance. It is a very clear concept of specialization based on cooperation which leads not only to economic success but also to gain of space and time merging to entrepreneurial free space which is highly necessary in today’s market environment.
